5th Workshop on Complex Oxides
Capri, Italy – May 20-24, 2018

The 5th edition of the Workshop on Complex Oxides will take place from May 20 to 24, 2018 on the wonderful island of Capri, Italy.
As for the previous editions, the workshop will gather scientists from all over the world to present recent advances on complex oxides and discuss perspectives for the field.

13th International Workshop on Low Temperature Electronics

The International Workshop on Low Temperature Electronics (WOLTE) is a biennial conference devoted to the presentation and exchange of the most recent advances in the field of low temperature electronics and its applications. This international forum is open to everyone in the field.

The Journal of Physics: Condensed Matter has dedicated the cover of the Volume 29, Number 48 (2017) to the SPIN study entitled: ‘Atomic-scale distortions and temperature-dependent large pseudogap in thin films of the parent iron-chalcogenide superconductor Fe_1+yTe’.

Emilio Bellingeri, Ricercatore CNR-SPIN Genova racconta a MEMEX - i luoghi della scienza (andato in onda su RAI Scuola il 7/11/2017) della ricerca in corso a Genova sulle nuove applicazioni dei materiali superconduttori.

Pancini” dell’Università di Napoli Federico II, la Sezione dell’INFN di Napoli, e l’Istituto del CNR ISASI, Cnr-SPIN ha attivato un percorso didattico di Alternanza Scuola-Lavoro dedicato a “Le Nanotecnologie e la Meccanica Quantistica”.

A novant’anni dalla celebre foto che ritraeva 28 scienziati e una sola scienziata (Marie Skłodowska Curie) scattata a margine del Congresso di Solvay, l’Università di Trento e la Società Italiana di Fisica la ripropongono a ruoli invertiti.
