The 2022 Congress of the SPIN Institute

On 4 November 2022, the Congress of the SPIN Institute was held in Villa Mondragone (Monte Porzio Catone, in Rome). After the COVID-19 pandemic outbreak, this new edition was the first opportunity to gather the SPIN community and share ideas about the present and future challenges of the Institute.

The meeting started with an introduction by Fabio Miletto Granozio, the CNR-SPIN Director, followed by a number of presentations by different speakers summarizing the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNNR) initiatives in which SPIN is involved.
The remaining part of the morning program was focused on the ongoing scientific re-organization of the Institute with talks by Valeria Braccini, Nicola Manca and Marco Salluzzo, as coordinators of the three new SPIN Research Areas.
The afternoon was dedicated to a scientific program that included 12 talks, four for each Research Area and eventually a poster session with 20 contributions.
