Geometry Week for Kids (GWK)

In occasione del Centenario del CNR, Alessandro Stroppa, Dirigente di Ricerca dell’Istituto SPIN, propone una settimana di eventi divulgativi che vedrà lo svolgimento, ogni giorno, di uno specifico laboratorio didattico, della durata di 90 minuti circa, dedicato a studenti di scuola primaria. Nelle diverse giornate, ogni laboratorio verrà programmato in più turni, con la presenza di 25 allievi per volta, in modo da consentire la partecipazione a diverse classi e istituti.

New significant achievements of SPIN researchers in the second 2022 Call of the Research Projects of National Interest (PRIN)

As for the 1st Call , the evaluation process of 2nd Call for the 2022 “Research Project of National Interest (PRIN)”, being directly related to the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR), recognized the capability of the SPIN researchers to present innovative proposals. Indeed, seven projects having a SPIN researcher as Principal Investigator were approved, while, in other two funded proposals, SPIN researchers are involved in a CNR UNIT (with a leading role in one case).

109° Congress of the Italian Physical Society – SALERNO EDITION

The 109° Congress of the Italian Physical Society, this year, has been organized by the Physics Department of the University of Salerno (Prof. Salvatore De Pasquale, president of the Organizing Committee) and CNR-SPIN Salerno (Dr. Nadia Martucciello, vice-president). The event will take place at the Fisciano Campus from 11th to 15th September 2023. The Congress, which will gather about 800 Italian physicists for the whole week, will represent the meeting point of various cultural and scientific facets of contemporary physics. The Congress, each day, has various plenary general sessions and seven parallel ones, to guarantee an ample scenery of the Italian research in physics and a common background for the attending researchers.
