The first CALL FOR PROPOSALS to access the NFFA-DI research infrastructure is currently open (deadline 31 October 2024)!
NFFA-DI is a research infrastructure distributed across Italy that supports both academic and industrial research projects in nanoscience and nanotechnology by offering access to state-of-the-art instrumentation and computational resources, that are integrated with a fair-by design approach.
The technical offer of NFFA-DI covers a wide range of nano-science methodologies, including about 100 instruments and more than 40 scientific techniques, thematically grouped into five different typologies (Installations), distributed throughout Italy
SPIN- Naples is a node of NFFA-DI infrastructure, with a technical offer of Growth and Synthesis and Advanced Characterization and Fine Analysis of already existing or new instrumentations set-up that will be available from 2025.
The full catalogue of techniques is available online.
User proposals can be prepared online and submitted via the NFFA-DI website. Selected scientific projects will be allocated to NFFA-DI facilities after a technical and scientific evaluation and access will start in March 2025.
Please note that the call is open also to researchers working at NFFA-DI nodes BUT access must be carried out in an operational unit other than the one to which the researcher belongs.
We warmly encourage you to take this opportunity and submit your scientific proposals in the field of nanoscience and nanotechnology, as well as to disseminate this information within your collaborative network.
