SuperFOx was born in 2012 from the merging of SATT (conferenza nazionale di Superconduttività ad Alta Temperatura di Transizione) and FOxE (Congresso Nazionale sugli Ossidi Funzionali per l'Elettronica), and since its first edition, it has been characterized by an international profile.
On May 23th and 24th the final exposition of the 2018 Alternanza Scuola Lavoro titled 'A Scuola di Astroparticelle', organized by the INFN Unit, the "E. Pancini" Physics Department and the CNR Institutes SPIN and ISASI of Napoli, will be held at the University of Napoli Federico II (Centri Comuni, Complesso di Monte Sant'Angelo, Napoli).
The 26th and 27th of March will be held at the SPIN headquarters in Genoa two project meetings: 1) Study of superconducting Tl (1223) coatings for beam impedance mitigation in the FCC and, 2) EuroFusion: enabling technologies. OEAW-03 Alternative HTS wires project. There will be the participation of the involved SPIN researchers and colleagues from the University of Wien, CERN and ENEA.
The 2018 Europhysics Prize is awarded to Lucio Braicovich and Giacomo Claudio Ghiringhelli
Giacomo Ghiringhelli and Lucio Braicovich from Politecnico di Milano, were awarded the 2018 Europhysics Prize of the Condensed Matter Division of the European Physical Society (EPS), for their groundbreaking work for the development and scientific exploration of high-resolution resonant inelastic X-ray scattering (RIXS).
OSS2018 - Oxide Superconducting Spintronics Workshop 2018

OSS2018 is organized within the Core-to-Core Oxide SuperSpin International Network involving experimental and theoretical groups in UK, Japan, South Korea, and Italy. The aim of OSS2018 is to bring together members of the Network along with leading scientists in the field of advanced materials and interface research to discuss frontier research in the area of novel superconductivity at oxide superconductor interfaces with magnetic materials.

The 5th edition of the Workshop on Complex Oxides will take place from May 20 to 24, 2018 on the wonderful island of Capri, Italy.
As for the previous editions, the workshop will gather scientists from all over the world to present recent advances on complex oxides and discuss perspectives for the field.
