GIDRM National Meeting

Gruppo Italiano Discussione Risonanza Magnetica (GIDRM) is a non-profit scientific association, founded in 1974, whose main aim is the promotion of teaching and research activities in all fields related to magnetic resonance. The GIDRM counts around 500 associated members working in Academia and Industry.

The University of L’Aquila (with the support of CNR-SPIN) will host the XLVIII GIDRM National Congress, 11-13 September 2019. This national forum will bring together the Italian community working on, or interested in, advanced hardware, methods and applications in the field of NMR/MRI, spanning from ultra low to ultra high magnetic fields.

A number of leading international scientists will give Plenary and Invited Lectures on the latest scientific and technological breakthroughs in NMR and MRI.

GIDRM promotes the participation of young scientists (under 35) to the Conference by covering their registration fee and accommodation expenses with attendance grants.

The GIDRM/GIRM Gold Medal and the Under 35 GIDRM Award will be given out and their recipients will give talks during the Congress.

The deadline for the submission of Abstracts to be considered for Oral and Poster presentations is 13 July 2019.
