Nell’ambito della 32.ma edizione di Futuro Remoto l’Istituto SPIN, in collaborazione con CNR INO, CNR IFN, Università di Napoli "Federico II" Dip. Fisica “E. Pancini” e LENS Firenze, propone e cura 3 eventi all’interno dell’area tematica Aerospazio.
Il Gruppo di Ricerca ‘Grafene e nanotubi per la Nanoelettronica’ del Dipartimento di Fisica E. R. Caianiello e del CNR – SPIN di Salerno è risultato vincitore di un premio STARTCUP CAMPANIA e selezionato per le finali nazionali del Premio Nazionale Innovazione 2018.
High Tc superconductors are well known for their complexity. Their normal state and superconducting properties have been the subject of intense research since their discovery, yet they continue to be a source of suprises for scientists working in condensed matter physics.
The viewpoint by Daniel Santavicca (2018 Supercond. Sci. Technol. 31, 040502) on “Prospects for faster, higher-temperature superconducting nanowire single-photon detectors”, calls for the attention on the letter by M Ejrnaes et al (2017 Supercond. Sci. The "Security and optimization of strategic infrastructures 4.0" Competency Center has been approved - START 4.0
The project, coordinated by CNR, with the involvement of IIT, the Liguria Region, the Port System Authorities, Unioncamere and the Confindustria Digital Innovation Hub, with the collaboration of RINA and the participation of Ansaldo Energia, Ansaldo STS, ABB, Cetena, IREN, Leonardo, Softeco and several SMEs, is among the 8 Competence Centers that have been selected by the Ministry of Economic Development to obtain funding in the context of Industry 4.0.
ANVUR has definitely approved the new Ph. D. Program on Quantum Technologies as proposed by the University of Naples Federico II (Coordinator Prof. Francesco Tafuri) in collaboration with the University of Camerino and CNR.
A fruitful collaboration among several CNR institutes (including CNR-SPIN Chieti in charge for the theory part) resulted in the May 2018 Cover of the scientific journal Nano Letters (Impact Factor = 12.712) devoted to “Ferroelectric Control of the Spin Texture in GeTe”,

The Journal of Physics: Condensed Matter has dedicated the cover of the Volume 29, Number 48 (2017) to the SPIN study entitled: ‘Atomic-scale distortions and temperature-dependent large pseudogap in thin films of the parent iron-chalcogenide superconductor Fe1+yTe’.
