Si è inaugurata a Genova la mostra “The code of the Universe. A photographic journey of discovery” alll’interno di un ciclo di eventi curati da Emilio Bellingeri in occasione della scuola internazionale di superconduttività applicata del network Easitrain, che riunisce nel capoluogo ligure 40 giovani ricercatori e studenti di tutta Europa sul tema della superconduttività avanzata.

CNR SPIN with the collaboration of Prof. Marina Putti of Genova University, in the  EASITrain MSCA Project framework (local responsible Emilio Bellingeri)  is organizing a two week postdoctoral school (EASISchool3 28 September - 9 October, Genova).

We successfully closed the International Workshop on Iron-based Superconductors which has been held on February 12^th - 14^th, 2020 in Santa Margherita (GE), in the beautiful Riviera Ligure close to Portofino, at Best Western Hotel Regina Elena.

On January, 21^st the SPIN-GE Workshop 2020 has been held at the Genova headquarter, a pleasant occasion in which to present and share the research work of the researchers working on the different topics at SPIN-Genova laboratories.

The 2019 edition of the Genoa Science Festival successfully concluded with 210.000 registered visits and over 280 scheduled events, which took place across different locations in the city of Genova.

Cnr, which is the main partner of this event, participated with different events including exhibitions, conferences, laboratories and performances.

SPIN is organizing together with the University of Genova and ISIR-Osaka University the open laboratory “Movements at the Microscale – inside the world of microelectromechanical devices” scheduled in Genoa (Palazzo Ducale, Munizioniere) from October 24^th to November 4^th 2019, as an event of The Genoa Science Festival

Symmetry is a very difficult topic whose deep understanding has required the development of a complex mathematical language called Group theory. Complex physical theories are based on symmetry arguments and symmetry principles. Physical properties of materials are often based on symmetry breaking mechanisms. The 5th edition of SuperFOx, Conference on Superconductivity and Functional Oxides, will be held in Santa Margherita, from February 10 to February 12, 2020.
